Headmistress cries for help, as Herdsmen invade Primary school

Some herdsmen reportedly led their cattle into Ohovbe Primary School Ikpoba, in Okha Local Government Area of Edo State, on Thursday, June 7, 2017.

The cows displaced students and teachers from classrooms as they had a field day in the school premises.

A public observer, Glen Imoobe, who visited the scene, said the cattle invade the school and a primary 3 classroom daily.

The school’s headmistress, Emumen Mercy and other teachers have appealed to relevant authorities to put a stop to the activities of the herdsmen within the school’s premises.

Many have expressed fears that the herdsmen could become violent if told to vacate the premises.
